George Buchanan had many different haircuts during his career. He was widely celebrated as an excellent linguist, poet, historian, translator, playwright and writer. However, the Scottish historian and humanist scholar was mostly known for his remarkable sense of fashion and his likable character. Before his tragic passing at the age of 76 he was repeatedly in the spotlight of the press because of his fine hairstyles.
